About the Journal
About Renai: Renai is a journal that has been published since 2000 by the Seeds of Humanity Foundation (Percik) in Salatiga, Central Java, Indonesia. In line with its vision and mission, the Percik Foundation has conducted various research in the fields of social sciences and humanities, organized training programs, supported community empowerment, advocated for legal awareness, democracy, and social justice, provided assistance in conflict resolution, and published various publications. The editorial board openly invites individuals from all backgrounds to submit their research findings in the fields of local politics, decentralization, democracy, local governance, elections, human rights, gender equality, environment, and development. Submitted articles will undergo a blind-review process and will be published twice a year in June and December.
Focus and Scope: Renai Journal publishes research results and analyses related to topics in local politics and social sciences and humanities, including the following sub-topics:
